Commission & Copyright Agreement

This Agreement is entered into as of 10/11/2025, between:

• Artist: Tasha Bock (“Artist”)

• Client: Estelle Colored Glass (“Client”)

1. Scope of Work

Artist agrees to create three (3) original watercolor paintings on paper with deckled edges, size

16×20 inches each using the existing line sketches provided by Stephanie Hall as the sketch

basis, depicting:

1. Gooseberries

2. Peaches

3. Strawberries

2. Compensation: Originals and Reproduction Rights

Original Paintings

• Fee for three (3) completed originals : $1,200 per painting.

Edits

Any edits or revisions requested after each painting has been started and necessitating extra

work, reworking, repainting, or digital modification will be billed at $45/hour.

Depending on the edit requests – some might necessitate starting the painting over from the

beginning or digitally altering it. If digitally altering it is the least expensive option the client will

be given the choice between the two routes. In the case of digital alterations the original physical

painting will not reflect these edits. A print of the digitally edited painting can be ordered for the

client at the cost of the client.

*Given the nature of watercolor as a medium, edits are often not feasible on the original. When

possible, artist will repaint or mask with either watercolor or gouache paint.*

Copyright & Reproduction Rights

• Client agrees to pay Artist a 5% royalty on net sales for all product lines.• Royalties shall be reported and paid quarterly, within 30 days of quarter end,

accompanied by sales statements. Royalties shall be based on net sales (gross revenue

less printing costs only, not including overhead or marketing).

• Rights are not to be sold or transferred to any other party. Client may not sublicense or

assign reproduction rights to third parties without Artist’s written consent.

• Product lines are up to the discretion and scope of the client (Estelle Glass).

3. Payment Terms

• Initial balance ($3,700) due upon completion of the three completed original paintings.

• Any following edits will be billed separately.

• Royalties billed separately on quarterly basis.

4. Delivery

Artist will deliver the completed paintings to Client by 12/30/25 subject to change if edits are

requested.

5. Copyright & Usage

• Artist to receive 5% royalty for all products utilizing the artwork sold on both client’s and

third-party websites.

• Artist retains the right to:

o Display images of the artworks in Artist’s portfolio, website, and exhibitions.

o Produce images for personal promotional purposes.

6. Attribution

Client will provide reasonable credit where the artwork is reproduced in print or online:

“Artwork by Tasha Bock.”

7. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of California.8. Copyright Ownership & Liability of Original Sketches

Client represents, warrants, and attests that they are the sole legal owner, or have obtained all

necessary rights, licenses, and permissions, to use, reproduce, and create derivative works based

on the original sketches provided to Tasha Bock (artist) for new paintings or other artistic

enhancement. Client acknowledges and agrees that Artist is relying entirely on Client’s

representation of ownership and rights.

Client further agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold Artist harmless from and against any and all

claims, demands, actions, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable

attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to any allegation, claim, or finding that the sketches or

any derivative works infringe upon the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.

Artist shall bear no responsibility or liability for any actual or alleged infringement of copyright

or other intellectual property rights related to the original sketches provided by Client.

9. Total Cost Summary

• Initial Paintings: $1,200 x 3= $3600

• Edits: Billed at $45 per hour.

• Shipping and Insurance: $100.

Total: $3,700 plus any hourly billed edits. (Includes three 16x20 originals, right to reproduction

with a 5% royalty, and insured shipping.)
